Charities for Children, Inc. will be hosting an event on Sunday, March 26 at Eastway Lanes to benefit many local Erie area children’s organizations, including CDC. All staff members, families and friends are encouraged to take part in the event, whether you are an avid bowler or a novice.

The benefit, which will be held at the alleys located at 4110 Buffalo Road in Erie, will consist of two shifts. Sign-in for the 10:30 a.m. event will begin at 9:15 a.m., and sign in for the 2:00 p.m. shift will commence at 12:45 p.m.


The cost for the event is $50.00 per person and is non-refundable. Paid entries can be dropped off at Eastway Lanes, which is located at 4110 Buffalo Road in Erie, or mailed to Rick Makowski at 1738 West 24th Street, Erie, PA 16502.

This cost will include a t-shirt and hoodie for all participants who have their entries submitted by February 18, 2023. Please note that you must select the same size for both the t-shirt and hoodie. In addition, all bowlers will receive a free pasta dinner at the 3rd Street Polish Falcons Club Nest 610 as well as a free personal pan pizza at White Buffalo, which is located at 3406 Buffalo Road. Entries will be accepted beginning December 1, and all bowlers must be 21 years of age and older.

Although all groups will be kept together, this is a singles tournament with five people per alley. Please see the below entry form for additional information. We hope to see many of you at the event to support CDC and many other local children’s organizations.

 

Update: The 2:00 p.m. slots have sold out; however, there are 26 spots available for the 10:30 a.m. shift. Our goal is to fill these openings with more CDC supporters. We need at least 10 bowlers to be considered for next year's tournament. All staff members, families and friends are encouraged to sign up to participate in this fundraising event.
