Before and After School Care

CDC operates the before and after care program across the Asbury, Belle Valley, Chestnut Hill, Grandview and Tracy Elementary Schools for the following ages: 

  • Asbury and Belle Valley: Preschool - 5th Grade
  • Chestnut Hill, Grandview and Tracy: Kindergarten - 5th Grade

 

This program includes:

  • Nurturing care 
  • A daily afternoon snack
  • Engaging activities
  • Homework help
  • Consistent hours of operation (7AM - 6PM), even on early dismissal days
  • A 10% sibling discount

    We currently only accept full-time enrollments (5 days/week) for before school, after school, or both at the following flat rates: 

    • Before School Only: $85/week
    • After School Only: $85/week
    • Both Before and After School: $150/week

    All weekly payments are due each Friday for the following week of care. 

    CDC also accepts subsidized tuition from income-eligible families as determined by the Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) at 814-836-5898 or 3823 West 12th Street.

  • Financial Help

    The Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) operates Pennsylvania's child care subsidy program statewide. The ELRC helps income-eligible families to find and pay for child care or early childhood education (including before- and after-school care and summertime care) so the parents can work or attend school.

    Many families are not aware that they and their childcare provider are eligible for ELRC funding. If your family meets the income and work or school requirements of the program, the ELRC may be able to help you as CDC qualifies for this program.

    The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) funds the ELRC childcare subsidy program.


We will also offer full-day care for children at each MTSD elementary school during the district’s five scheduled in-service days throughout the 2024-2025 school year! These dates are as follows:

  • Monday, October 14, 2024
  • Tuesday, November 12, 2024
  • Monday, January 27, 2025
  • Monday, February 24, 2025
  • Friday, April 4, 2025


If a family chooses to reserve full-day care for their child(ren), an additional $25 per child will be reflected in their billing statement for each selected date above. This rate includes both a morning and afternoon snack. Families must pack their child’s lunch on these dates.

Donation Refund Policy

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us.
